Modern vs Traditional Tribal Tattooing Methods
As technology has advanced in recent years, we have undoubtedly reaped the rewards and one such area that we have benefited in body art. If you have had a tattoo or are considering having one then you may not appreciate the sanitary and mechanical use of the needle. However, it is much less painful than it used to be when tribal tattoos were used solely for tribal purposes.
Tribal tattoos were completed using bamboo, stone, awls and all sorts of other primitive needles. It was not uncommon for the tattoos to become infected for a while and they would have indeed been painful. Today, the pain you feel is a fraction of what it once was. Although some cultures still use traditional tribal tattooing methods, modern ones are undoubtedly better for the average Joe!
